Friends! A 'Cornerstone' typically refers to the foundational element of something. It can be a fundamental part or principle upon which an organization is built. In a more literal sense, a Cornerstone is the first stone set in the construction of a masonry foundation, and it plays a symbolic and structural role in supporting the entire structure. The importance of a solid foundation cannot be negated. It is indeed an essential to create anything of value, be it a structure or an institution .
An idea or thought, nurtured minutely with immense clarity of purpose at all levels, can prove to be a strong foundation for creating anything of value.
The guiding force behind the idea of 'ADHARSHILA' (An Academy with difference) 25 years back & even today rests on the strong desire to provide accessible quality basic education to young minds in a pressure free environment. A passion to teach, interact & holistically involve in all possible aspects of child growth, has facilitated in the smooth satisfying journey of Adharshila.
A service oriented approach in our day to day functioning does give us an opportunity to serve & address concerns of these young learners & their parents. It also gives immense satisfaction to give my share of little contribution , back to the society for a larger good.
Interview with Sidhartha Ji
Question 1. Why did you choose Education as your career for livelihood?
Answer. Choice of choosing this profession was guided by a liking to teach & create a setup where economised good quality basic education is easily accessible to masses, and not much guided by trends of the day .
As for the ' livelihood' part , it was always well taken care of by the family .
Question 2. How did you decide to go for a preschool?
Answer. Pre-school & primary education provides an opportunity to mould a raw mind to a learned individual. The impressions of this magical change is very distinct & extremely satisfying for an educator.
After the formative years such changes are comparatively less reflective & distinct.
Question 3. What were the other options for naming your educational institution?
Answer. The very conception of the thought started with ' ADHARSHILA' , it was blessed by my father.
Question 4. From your point of view which is the best preschool in Western Uttar Pradesh?
Answer. Any school which honestly believes in delivering its responsibilities as a school is a good school to me.
A school is a major contributor in making a nation, hence needs very careful handling.
Question 5. You are experienced, then what is your future plan in the education field?
Answer. If future is 'tomorrow', then surely the plan is to go to my school tomorrow morning with all the Josh & excitement to do my best, return home satisfied & free of any guilt AND prepare for the new 'tomorrow'.
